Airlines have specific criteria for approving the use of these trackers, which may consider factors such as size and weight, package type, and destination. These criteria are designed to ensure the safety, efficiency, and security of the airline and packages.
Disposable GPS tracking devices are small, lightweight devices that can be attached to a shipment to track its location and movements. These devices typically use a combination of satellite and cellular technology to provide real-time tracking information to a user-friendly online platform or app.
I get asked a lot about ‘disposable’ and single use GPS tracking technology, especially by shippers. I have written this initial primer which I hope is useful.
